Open Beta
May 11th, 2011
We are excited to announce that we are opening our doors to anyone who is interested in using our API. As part of moving out of the closed beta (invite only) phase of our journey, we have deployed a number of new features that we think will enhance the apps you can build and deploy.
These features include the ability to filter your results by a particular business category or to restrict your search result set to a specific geographical area. You will also notice we now have separate Test and Production services so we can better support your initiatives. All the information you need to deliver our reporting needs is now available and documented for you.
When you get a moment why not check out our new API Explorer, where you can interrogate our data and review its structure without having to go to the trouble of building an application.
You can read the full release notes on our forum and find out more about the differences between the Test and Production services in our documentation.
Of course, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
